A pioneer of the music scene since he first found fame with rock band Genesis, Peter Gabriel is recognised as one of the most innovative musicians of a generation.
His first four albums were all untitled, simply being called "Peter Gabriel" but more commonly known as "Car", "Scratch", "Melt" (featuring "Games Without Frontiers" and "Biko") and "Security".
1986 saw the release of the "So" album which included "Sledgehammer" with legendary accompanying video.
Peter Gabriel is also famed for championing World music and human rights. He was one of the founders of the WOMAD Festival and has appeared at a host of benefit concerts including the Amnesty International Human Rights Now! Tour and The Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Concert in 1988.
"Us" is Peter Garbiel's sixth solo studio album and was released in 1992. Again an innovator, the album was sold with software for Macintosh computers "Xplora 1 - Peter Gabriel's Secret World" featuring music videos for album tracks.
This 2016 re-issue double album is a 33 1/3 RPM Half-Speed Remaster and is pressed on 180 gram vinyl. It comes complete with Hi-Res Download Card.
