The Jeff Beck Group Unauthorized 12” Vinyl European Tour 1972 Bob Tench.

This is from my private collection. I purchased this at an antique shop here in the States. It has always been stored in optimal conditions. The original owner worked at a record store in the 60s, 70s and his stuff was primo!

It was recorded at The Barris? studio London, I believe in 1972. The album features Bob Tench on vocals and second guitar. Bob was with the band for less than a year before the band disbanded. A very rare recording! There are no markings as to date or place on record album.

Make no mistake, this is NOT a professional studio recording. It is a live, stereo recording from a show on whatever equipment was there. That being said, it does have a sort of “Ed Sullivanesqe” sound to it with Mike Hagen introducing the band and a bit of history before each song. It also has that vintage, hollow-y recorded sound. The songs are raw and pure! It is a super cool record that features songs from a few different albums and covers.

I do not sell records normally, and I don’t know too much about the grading system. I will do my best to describe as accurately as I can.

The sleeve is all intact, no splits in seams. There is shelf wear commensurate with age. It has yellowed over time as it is not glossy. Paper picture is glued on front, and unbelievably enough, has no tears and is securely affixed. The back does show record outline.

The inner lining is also original and yellowed and has a corner crease.

The record is super shiny, does not have any visible scratches, and plays beautifully. The first minute or so on Side 1 does have static sound. I do not find any physical reason for this. It clears up and you don’t hear it again. It may have been part of recording. The runout says Beck 1902 A scratched out followed by 1901A on side A . The B side says Beck, 1902B scratched out followed by 1901 B.

Again, this is live. You hear clapping, comments, a cough, etc. and recorded in the early 70s.

Please ask questions and look at pictures before bidding. Thank you.

I will ship, LP outside, wrapped super careful, and shipped in packaging made for a record.
