This is a very nice copy of the amazing third album from the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland released on Track Records in 1968, record number 613008 with an A/1 matrix number on Side A.

This copy is the ‘white text’ variant which also has the hand scratched change in the matrix number on Side A where the number has been changed from 61300B to 613008 (as you can hopefully see in the photos).

As you can see from the photos, the cover retains its strong laminate sheen and only has some light light creasing to the laminate on the front cover and the start of some light ring marks on the rear and inner cover.

There are no tears or splits to the cover.

The records are in really good condition with no visible scratches or marks. There are only some light spindle marks with longer marks on Sides B and C.

I’ve played the record through and it plays really well with a really strong sound with no skips, jumps or repeats. The only observations I’ve made are that are some very light cueing clicks at the start of Sides A and C and a light pop during the run out grooves for Side A.

Using the Record Collector grading system, I would grade this the cover as Very Good in that “normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any defects is acceptable” and the records as Excellent as “the record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality”. I know this is always a matter opinion but this is intended to give the buyer an assessment of the condition to support the photos.

The records come with their original British Patent No 800513 & 97339 Made in England 50 ‘12 70 inner sleeves (although they will be mailed with the records in a separate inner sleeve to protect them).

This auction starts at only 99p with no reserve!

Postage will be £7.00 delivered in the UK. I will send the record in a cardboard (not card!) mailer with a plastic outer sheet to protect the mailer from the elements during postage. Inside, I will remove the vinyl from its original inner sleeves and provide separate later inner sleeves. I will also store the records, inner and cover in a polythene 12” cover.

Please let me know if you need any further information or if you would like any additional photos of the record.

Thanks for looking at my auction! I am collector who is thinning down my collection so please keep looking at my auctions for other great records!
