Northern was a country rock band active between 1977 and 1982. They
were led by Billy Cowsill of The Cowsills who would go on to form The
Blue Shadows and The Co-Dependents when Blue Northern disbanded in 1982.
He died in 2006. Other members include fiddler/singer Garry Comeau and
singer-guitarist Ray O'Toole of The Northwest Company.
