This albums was originally released as Carolina County Ball. This title came out little later. The band includes the now famous Ronnie James Dio, Gary Driscoll, and Craig Gruber who stayed with Dio when Ritchie Blackmore poached Elf to record his first solo album "Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.
This album showcases a much younger Ronnie James Dio who would go on to record some of the best Metal or hard rock albums of all time with Blackmore, later with Black Sabbath and then on his own with Dio.
The front cover shows more than a little ring wear, but the back as seen in the photos is very good. The vinyl has very little surface noise. I just played it and on some quiet portions there is a little but not enough to take away from the music.
