VG++ copy of the Duke Ellington Orchestra's The Blanton-Webster Band. Four records in pristine condition of the greatest years of the greatest jazz orchestra in history. Box and 14-page booklet are both in VG+ condition. There is a track-by-track analysis of all tracks. Duke's band at the time included Ben Webster, Jimmy Blanton, Johnny Hodges, Harry Carney, Rex Stewart, Cootie Williams, Ray Nance, Lawrence Brown, Tricky Sam Nanton, Sonny Greer, etc.
