Yes, it is now considered a holiday classic but it took singing cowboy Gene Autry to make it a worldwide Christmas classic. Now, thanks to Mr. Autry, Rudolph, the reindeer with the glowing red snout, is a household name and would eventually become a holiday TV special seen by millions every year. We should never forget the other reindeer but Rudolph leads the pack when weather is bad and Santa needs a little help in order to find his way through snow storms and dark, empty skies.
