PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

Fly On The Wall promotional lot!  LP is an original Robert Ludwig mastered Specialty advance first pressing from June 28, 1985 on Atlantic with four song hype sticker in the top left hand corner on the front cover exclusive to promos (stock copies came with them affixed to the shrink wrap), promotional text in the opposite corner on the right in customary gold embossed lettering and original glossy printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!!  LP is VG+ with a few light scuffs.  Cover is easily VG+, close to VG++, with a few light creases.  Now for the real reason you're reading this.  Auction also includes an ULTRA RARE original rigid 12 X 12 in-store promotional display put out by Atlantic Records in 1985!!!  I purchased this many years ago from a former Tower Records (R.I.P.) manager here in Chicago who was an avid AC/DC fan and decided to rescue this display from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive).  She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed.  Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result VERY few survived from the 1980s. This one unquestioningly graced the Tower wall as it has a small tape residue on the corners on the rear.  These are the kinds of rarities AC/DC fans are going to be fighting over fiercely in the very near future so don't sleep collectors.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED)   NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
