Zulu compilation Gatefold LP featuring a pre Frankie Goes To Hollywood as ‘Frankie’ performing a demo version of Love Has Got A Gun

These came direct from Zulu’s owner, Ambrose and I will include a copy of the letter he sent me at the time way back in 1984!

It’s been in my collection since 1984 and has been unplayed! Cover is also in excellent condition, just minimal wear on the spine as is usual on gatefold sleeves

Brilliant compilation on the short lived Liverpool label Zulu Records ( run by Jayne Casey & Ambrose Reynolds from Pink Industry ) featuring local and Northern talent at the time.

The idea of the Zulu compilation was to give some record space to a few of the groups/individuals who never really had much exposure outside of Liverpool'. Benjamin Zephania just happened to be passing through, 'how could we resist? ... Frankie Goes To Hollywood, who we recorded in the summer of '82 after seeing and loving their first Liverpool gig ...'.

Issued in gatefold sleeve.
