Pink Floyd---Animals
With probably 50 or so colored vinyl LPs including "Yellow Brick Road" on yellow and the "White " LP on white vinyl, I've decided to list a few more.
I've taken a break since the Holidays and the COLD weather. It's time to list a few more LPs so I'll be doing a few more colored vinyl in the next few days. I do my photos in natural light on my deck so when it rains, I'm out of business.
Another from my brother's collection and likely never played. Stored in my granny flat for going on 20 years, it's time for me to reduce my collection.
I'm 74 and want my collection to mean something to someone.
The cover is at least VG mostly because the center of the back has about 1 1/2 inches of chipping or possible seam split. The vinyl is also VG or better even though visually it looks un-played. "Pigs Part 1 has some surface noise and "dogs" does also in one short section. I played both Sides and am probably a bit to finicky. Same with Side 2. I think it's the pressing and who knows but it may clean up with a few plays. Inside sleeve is VG++.
Don't let my description scare you. The labels, spindle hole and LP are all spotless and any other seller would visually grade this LP as M- or even M. My grading system stops at VG++ which would mean it was "perfect".
My opening will be very reasonable because of this but the LP is very playable with no obscene pops or ticks.
I guess that this one is very rare since the only other one I could find is almost 10 times my opening bid.
I DOUBT THAT THIS LP WAS EVER PLAYED.
I'll ship Media Mail to help keep costs down. Depending on your location and final bid, I reserve the option to ship Priority Mail but I will pay the extra fees.
Below you will find my self imposed Grading System. I may be a little kinder when it comes to rare and semi-rare LPs but I grade HARD.
My opening bid on this one is a guess.
I will not grade an LP Mint (M) or Mint minus (M-) because nothing is Perfect.
My highest grading on any opened LP is VG+ which means you just brought the record home and opened it. VG+ The vinyl is spotless with no smudges, scratches or scuffs (I've added VG++ for exceptional condition LPs). VG A very nice record, very playable with only the slightest to no surface noise. VG- Slight scuffs and/or light scratches that do NOT effect play to unlistenable. G No skips or distortion but most likely will have a lots of surface noise. I will only list RARE or COLLECTIBLE LPs in this condition.
There is also SEALED which I have quite a few of.
THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK!
