A very well looked after true 1st UK press with super early A-1U-1-1/B-2U-1-1 matrix codes and with TOWNHOUSE DMM etched.
Earliest version of gatefold sleeve with only eight lines of text on the "Thanks to:" section on back cover instead of nine and without an asterisk after the song "Red Hill Mining Town".
The double page poster lyrics sheet is without the credit "Additional Rhythm Guitar : Daniel Lanois" as on later issues.Vinyl: Excellent. Clean surface with no easily visible marks - appearing lightly played with no visible spindle marks on the clean, bright labels. A beautiful copy.
Sleeve: Excellent - really well preserved thisck card sleeve in a matt finish.
Inner/inserts: Original plain black inner sleeve and first issue poster/lyrics insert. All Excellent.
All records are sent in sturdy cardboard mailers with clear plastic storage sleeves and new inners to protect the original components. All vinyls placed outside sleeves before packing . Thanks for looking and do check out the other records I have on auction this week.
