This is the UK Indies “Phantom Clear” vinyl. The Manuscript edition includes a 24 page book-bound jacket with unique photos and three handwritten lyrics. Bonus Track “The Manuscript”

The main attraction here is the addition of the handwritten Record Store Day (RSD) note from Taylor. The only way to get one of these ultra rare handwritten notes was to visit an independent record store on the morning of Record Store Day (Saturday 20th April 2024) and buy a copy of the album.

Not all stores were given notes and none of them were given very many. An absolutely fantastic piece of Taylor Memorabilia that is sure to be in demand.

“And while there are no specific Taylor Swift releases on this year’s Record Store Day, some lucky buyers were pleasantly surprised to find a printed, hand-written note inside their vinyl editions of The Tortured Poets Department. It’s not known how many of the notes were produced but it is believed to be a limited run which means some fans now have a valuable collectors’ item.

The note, signed by the singer with a heart, reads: “Happy Record Store Day!! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for welcoming The Tortured Poets Department into your vinyl collection and your life. It’s my goal to create a memento you’ll want to keep forever, and I hope you’ll feel that with every turn of the page of the lyric book, every secret thought poured into this work. It’s an honor to be able to trust you with my feelings. Love, Taylor”.”

Do I think she signed them personally? I don’t know.

What I do know is that there are a very limited amount of these notes, they are a great piece of Taylor memorabilia. ***
