INSANELY RARE original 0306 white label PROMOTIONAL first US pressing on Reprise from 1964 in glorious mono with It's All Right on the B-side in the original green Reprise sleeve!!!  What makes this particular copy even more exciting is the fact that it includes the ULTRA RARE original rigid card stock 6.5" X 6.5" promotional THE KINKS IS HERE press sheet bio with the Reprise logo in the center!!!  Vinyl is VG+/VG++ with a few light paper scuffs on the B-side.  Sleeve has no splits and no seams.  Bio sheet is fantastic with a small faint crease on the tip of the bottom right hand corner that is barely visible.  THIS is where punk AND metal got their chops and where they BOTH began in this collector's never-humble opinion.  Sure the Stones had some good riffs on their first LP in '64 but this song had that intangible feel and sound that was just different.  Heavier.  It had an undeniable POWER that made you clench your teeth angrily when you played it on your air guitar.  The Sonics were certainly paying attention.  Same with Hammersmith Gorillas and Van Halen a decade later.  The debate will forever rage over where it all started for both genres but for me this was the place.  NOTHING else sounded this heavy in 1964.  The last time a complete promotional set like this came up for auction was over four years ago according to Popsike and it will most likely be a lot longer before another one surfaces so don't sleep Kinks collectors.  Simply impossible to find in this condition.  You will not be disappointed.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
