Sealed: Sealed records are assumed to be mint.

M-: almost M. Record may show some very light scuffs or marks with some surface noise.  Good gloss and looks very nice.

Very Good Plus (VG+). Vinyl shows some signs wear and scuffs.  The flaws will be visible under normal lighting conditions.  Some light noise may be possible during quiet passages in the record, and in the lead-in and lead-out areas of the record an occasional pop is also possible. 

VG: VINYL has light scratches, surface noise and may crackle or pop. Light scratches may be present but not severe enough that they can be felt with your finger.

VG -: Scratches, some groove ware. Record has surface noise and some scratches will be audible. It will play through without skipping.

Good: Good does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers. What a bargain!!

A plus (+) or (-) following the condition indicate variations of the condition i.e. VG+ is in slightly better condition than VG but not excellent.

Cover Grading: 

Sealed/New, I will provide issues with cover if any such as tears wear and saw marks.  

M- very clean with only extremely light signs of wear, perhaps a few small light creases, extremely light signs of handling / very little shelf wear, maybe very light signs of ring wear (no seam splits / no writing on the cover).  Will be very close to New in appearance.  

VG+   clean with perhaps some light ring wear, maybe a few small light torn areas, few light creases, very light ring wear.  Will be close to Near Mint with maybe a very small seam split or small light writing in a spot.  

VG more wear around the edges / at the corners, some small creases, a few longer heavier creases, could have a couple of longer seam splits, maybe some light tearing, sticker residue / light sticker tears, maybe some writing + water staining...

VG-   will have moderate corner / edge wear, some seam splitting, some creases, writing, torn areas, water staining, sticker residue / tearing, seam wear / splitting, etc.  The entire cover will be in once full piece - still not trashed but not the best looking.
