Letting go of my 1983 "Hit Squad for God" 7" EP by Darien, Connecticut's Vatican Commandos. Purchased in 1984 at Fallout Records in Seattle, my copy of the second press is in good condition for being 41 years old. If you're here, you probably already know that a very young Moby played guitar in Vatican Commandos (though was kicked out of the band after this EP was released). If you didn't know that, you learned something new today.
And, of course, Vatican Commandos provided a solid dose of early CT Hardcore that was stylistically similar to peers at the time, C.I.A. and Reflex From Pain.
