DAWES "NORTH HILLS"(ATO) 2009 GATEFOLD IS M- SMALL CNR DING DISC ARE BOTH M- HAS INSERT If you take The Band's kind of American country rock balladry and strip it down, and give it modern production, this is what you get. It has great melody and lyrics, however it sometimes falls short of the kind of triumphs that the Band's work pioneered. Altogether a fantastic Americana album that loves the thought of nostalgia. It will probably put a smile on your face at times, and make you remember lost love at others. Western Skyline is my favorite track.
