This is an Apple label test pressing demo? Of the Beatles export album Hey Jude from 1970.

This is a vinyl record not an acetate. The record has an Apple Custom Recording label on one side, the other side doesn't have a label.

The label plays the full Hey Jude LP and strangely the label is on the side which starts with Hey Jude.

The label has some browning from age to it probably the glue which has eked through over time, as said previously there is no label on the reverse.

Both sides of the record have lovely excellent surfaces, it appears to have been well looked after.

Matrix yeex 151-1, yeex 150-1 (export matrices).

There are no stampers which makes me think this is not an EMI pressing, it is quite a heavy pressing weighing approximately 170 grams, it is a little thicker than most LP's from the 1970's.

The record does not have a sleeve but comes in an brown inner that is akin to the "Concert For Bangla Desh" versions (just as a comparison).

Please see the pics as they form part of the description.
