Here's the record that started Beatlemania in the United States, in like-new condition! This is a rare and valuable first pressing of Capitol 5112 - The Beatles' "I Want To Hold Your Hand/ I Saw Her Standing There" picture sleeve 45 from 1963. The vinyl record is excellent (EX), some smudges and tiny scratches, and the sleeve is near mint (NM or M-). You won't find this historic release in such good shape. This is the very first pressing from the Scranton plant on December 26, 1963, and is a must-have for any vinyl record collector or music enthusiast. The first pressing has "Walter Hofer" publishing credit on the B side, not "George Pincus & Sons Music Corp" as seen on later pressings.  Also, the picture sleeve does not use periods in the tiny text "REG U S PAT OFF" in the Capitol Logo.

"I Want to Hold Your Hand" was recorded on 17 October 1963 and released on 29 November 1963 in the United Kingdom. It was the first Beatles record to be made using  recording equipment

It remained on the Billboard chart for 15 weeks.  "I Want to Hold Your Hand" became the Beatles' , selling more than 12 million copies. In 2018,  magazine named it the 48th biggest hit of all time on the Billboard Hot 100.
