Fresh Cream: Features the original purple and gold Atco label (note: the yellow Atco label is a later issue, and the RSO label is much later). I'm rating the vinyl and cover at Good-minus. There is some surface noise, primarily on quieter songs, and a few brief skips, but overall it plays nicely and sounds good. Front cover is in pretty good shape, with only some faint scuffs, but scotch tape has been used to repair an arc-shaped tear in the area of Ginger Baker's mid-chest (he is on the left). Back Cover has a fair amount of scuffing and scotch tape has been used to make a couple of repairs (notable in the upper right corner). Name of former owner (me!) written along left edge. Has the original Atco promo inner sleeve (again with scotch tape on the seams). Please see photos!
Wheels of Fire: Features the original purple & gold Atco labels and promo inner sleeves. I am rating the records at Fair-plus due to a fair amount of surface noise, but this is primarily noticeable of the quiet songs (of which there aren't many!). There are a few brief skips, but overall the records play fine and sound pretty good. The original foil album cover still looks nice and shiny, but most of the seams have been covered with scotch tape. Original owner's name (also me!)  written toward top of the left inside gatefold cover. Please see photos
In summary: While you will hear some surface noise and a few skips, overall, these albums play pretty good. Scotch tape has been used judiciously to make repairs on the covers, but they too look pretty good, considering their age. These are my original copies, purchase about 55 years ago in Boulder, Colorado. I recently replaced both records with fresher copies, but I paid $48 for the new Wheels of Fire and $25 for a fresher Fresh Cream LP. So, this is a cheap way to get these classics into your vinyl collection, and at the very least serve as placeholders until you can afford upgraded copies.
