**++++++PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
BIG 1999 lot on vinyl!
1) 1999 LP - RARE original Bernie Grundman mastered Columbia House Carrollton first pressing from 1982 on Warner Brothers with NO barcode, glossy full color printed inner sleeves with complete lyrics, Columbia House text in the bottom right hand corner on the rear cover, alternate catalog number 9 W1-23720 on the spine and misprinted Made In S A in the upper label rim text on side 2 instead of Made In U S A!!! LPs are a gorgeous near mint minus. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and beautiful. An absolute high grade copy. You will not be disappointed.
2) Little Red Corvette 45 - rare Allied 7" picture disc from 1983 on Warner Brothers with triangular hype sticker in the top left hand corner on the thick PVC sleeve and 1999 on the B-side!!! Vinyl looks VG but picture discs are notoriously hard to grade so it might be better and sleeve has NO splits or seams.
3) 1999 45 - Specialty picture sleeve pressing on Warner Brothers from September 24, 1982 with How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore on the reverse!!! Vinyl is a nice VG with some light paper scuffs. Sleeve is VG+ with some light wear at the opening on top.
4) Let's Pretend We're Married 12" - two-song Specialty pressing on Warner Brothers from 1983 with Irresistible Bitch on the B!!! Vinyl is VG/VG+ with a few very light paper scuffs on side B. Cover is a very nice VG.
5) Little Red Corvette 45 - Jacksonville pressing on Warner Brothers' brown label from 1982 in the original sleeve with All The Critics Love U In New York on the flip!!! Vinyl is a beautiful VG++/NM. Labels are spectacular.
6) 1999 12" - MEGA RARE The New Master edition from February 1, 1999 on NPG Records credited to Prince And The Revolution with the original hype sticker in the top right hand corner pressed on PURPLE TRANSLUCENT VINYL!!! Look cool as all hell when held up to a light. Vinyl is VG++ with a few light paper scuffs. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and beautiful.
Buying every record in this lot individually would cost $31.50 in shipping ALONE so don't sleep Prince collectors.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
