A wonderful artifact of the British psychedelic era, the art collective The Fool sounds like those little spirits that live in the forest, jump up and down and never shut up. The album is an extremely quirky collection of ditties with a bizarre medieval flavour, though no medieval instrument is involved - it's the melodies that sound ancestral, but surprisingly authentic, not affected.
