Birdsongs of the Mesozoic - Beat of the Mesozoic
Original 1985 pressing, Ace of Hearts Records
Play Grade: VG+
Cover Condition: Ring wear on front and back. Some light scuffing.
This is a great EP, and I am almost hoping no one buys it and I just add it to my own collection. With Roger Miller who went on to form Mission of Burma, Martin Swope also from Mission of Burma, Erik Lindgren, and Rick Scott. Kind of instrumental, post-punk, noisy, chamber rock.
Various Artists - A Wicked Good Time! The Modern Method Compilation
1981 Modern Method Records
Great record if you are at all interested in the the 80's Boston post-punk scene. My favorite tracks are from the Young Snakes and Bird Songs of the Mesozoic, but the whole record is great.
Play Grade: VG+
Cover Condition: Clipped corner. Light ring wear on front and back. Heavy edge wear, about five inches long, along the left hand side.
Be sure to check out my other auctions. I do combined shipping.
I clean and play grade all my records. How I play grade:
NM: like new, maybe never played. Needs to be perfect in every way. Rarely, if ever, do I use this grade. I grade very conservatively.
EX-: Almost perfect condition, plays free of any clicks and pops.
VG+: Sounds great, but may have a very occassional click or pop (such as in between songs) that does not detract from the music. No visible scuffs or scratches.
VG: Plays well, sounds good. You may be able to hear some noise, but it does not overwhelm the music. May have a couple of visible scratches or scuffs.
VG-: More visible scuffs or scratches than a VG. Still a decent listening experience.
G: Still plays through, but it will be noisy in some parts. I usually don't list G records, unless they are very rare.
