Original first pressing of this psych rock classic. The earliest issue of The Doors groundbreaking second album. A real classic LP.
This is the first U.S. stereo pressing on Elektra with the Gold record label. Catalogue number EKS-74014. The Matrix/ Runout on Side A is EKS 74014 A and on Side B is EKS 74014 B.
It is with great regret that I choose to part with this, but sadly I needthe money more. Hope it goes to a good home.
CONDITION:
COVER – GOOD - The sleeve is in fine condition, apart from being a little tatty around the spine and side edge and having slight ring wear. There is also a 2 inch split in the centre of the spine and it is significantly worn at the foot of the front. However, it is still a decent copy. There is NO writing.
RECORD – VERY GOOD - The vinyl looks to be in great conditon. The labels are clean and vibrant and the black vinyl has a glossy shine to it. There are a few light marks and hairline scratches on both sides that you would expect to find on a record of this age,but nothing serious and only the light occasional pop on my record player. There are also some very faint spindle marks on the label. Any marks seen in the photos are not on the vinyl, but reflections or smudges on my camera lens.
The record shall be sent to the lucky winner very well packaged and in a protective sleeve. Collection welcomed. Any questions please ask.
Many thanks for looking.
Please see my 100% positive feedback. In over 10 years, I have never received negative. Bid with confidence.
