CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY

AUDIO VG/VERY GOOD(-); this has been completely play graded from start to finish at volume and all sides played through really well without jumping or sticking. The overall clarity of the audio itself was nice with some background that was more noticeable in some passages over others especially towards the end of each side. Occasional pops/clicks. Overall, a more than reasonable listen.
VINYL (VISUAL): VERY GOOD(-); the vinyl has retained a nice shine but does have noticeable surface marks and some scratches as expected for this grade. Looks fine with disc two looking slightly better.
All labels look nice with general signs of age and use. There is a name written to sides two and four (see photos).
SLEEVE: VG/VERY GOOD(+); the sleeve is a nice example overall and remains reasonably white. Some storage marks to the exterior + mild ring wear and a tiny bit of blue ink on the rear panel. The interior centrefold looks great with little to fault. Some scuffing to the spine but all text remains clearly legible. Very presentable.
Please note that there are no prints, black inners, poster or spacer with this copy.

I reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers whose previous feedback ratings are poor.

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.

Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I WILL ALWAYS COMBINE SHIPPING FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES AND OFFER A DISCOUNT. PLEASE ASK FOR A QUOTE IN ADVANCE.

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

Shipping rates quoted are valid up to a total sale value of £2500 within the UK and £500 for overseas buyers in Europe, North America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE ABOVE TERRITORIES SHOULD NOTE THAT THE SAME RATES APPLY BUT POSSIBLY ONLY UP TO A MAXIMUM VALUE OF £250

Overseas buyers please note that any item or items with a total value of £20 or more must be sent by International Signed For with no exceptions at the rate shown. Please ask for a quote or wait for my invoice if the final sale is more than £250/£500.

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS: Please note that for overseas orders from outside the EU I am obliged to complete a customs declaration and must enter the true value of the package's contents on the declaration. It is the BUYER'S responsibility to ensure that all import duties are known and paid.

Please send me a message if anything is unclear and I will be happy to help.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced. POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
