All records will be sold exclusively on Ebay in auction format only (no 'Buy It Now' offers please) and WITHOUT RESERVE.

Due to the number of discs listed each week, gradings are visual only. However we are happy to provide audio grades on request.

This week, we are proud to offer some choice items from the U.S. section of the collection

THE BEATLES & FRANK IFIELD - 'ON STAGE'

This, one of the rarest and most valuable of all Beatles albums issued, was the final album released by Vee-Jay Records before their rights to the Beatles catalogue expired in October 1964. This release was simply a re-packaged version of 'Jolly What! The Beatles & Frank Ifield On Stage' in a re-designed cover. The 'portrait cover' featuring a drawing of The Beatles and the four Beatles song titles. However, the album barely made it to record shops before Vee-Jay's rights expired. Just a few hundred copies are believed to exist.

This is a genuine mono example on the colourband Vee-Jay label: VJLP 1085

Matrix numbers: 64-3852 & 64-3853

The run-outs bear the 'MR' mark of the 'Monarch Record Mfg. Co.', along with the hand-etched initials 'URJ'

Vinyl weight: 146g

Housed within a slick-pasted-on-posterboard cover, complete with original Vee Jay advertising inner-sleeve
