This first press stereo vinyl is in amazing condition. It plays beautifully, no jumps, skips, pops or even any crackle or hiss at all. The minute the stylus drops onto the vinyl it is a pure and clean stereo sound. Many other dealers would grade this as Near Mint, but we will strictly grade this as Excellent - it is over 50 years old and has been played by its one previous owner about a dozen times. On close inspection, there are no marks and scratches on either side, just some very, very light paper scuffs, but you have to look very closely. The vinyl still retains its original, lovely sheen. The first press labels are clean and free from writing, nasty stains, marks with just a few light spindle marks either side.

The original flipback gatefold sleeve is in good condition.  It is very flat looking, with no scuffs on the edges, the spine is clean and all words are completely readable. However, to each corner on the front sleeve, there are some scuffs and even splits which can be seen in pictures 4 & 5; they are not awful but they are there. The laminated front cover has some minor creasing, the worst of which can be seen in picture 6, but no laminate lift. The back cover has some very minor ringwear. The inside of the gatefold looks great with no marks, stains, splits or writing. Because of the front cover corner wear, we feel we have to strictly grade this cover as Good, but many would grade higher.

The original 'Use Emitex' inner sleeve is in very good condition. It has some slight creasing and some very slight discolouration around the edges. No rips, stains, marks or writing on this inner.

Record Collector Gradings - 

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
