The Contours - Do You Love Me - Rare 7" single- Oriole Tamla CBA1763.

Matrix a side: DMB-006 313
Matrix b side: D742-005 205

Vinyl side A condition: VG. Still retains a good sheen. A few paper hairlines but no nasty marks or feelable scratches. Plays fine with very little to no surface noise, a surprise for 52 year old record. A good copy of this very hard to find single. Minor centre spindling indicating the B side was not played much.

Vinyl side B condition: VG. Much as above. See photos. This side has not been played much, as lack of spindling to the A side label would indicate that. The label has a piece of tape over the Oriole logo bearing the owners name. I bought a batch of rare 7" from this original owner who'd had them since the release!

Comes with a new white paper bag. I will supply a clear plastic sleeve with this too.

I have been collecting and working with records for 30 years and spent almost all of the 80’s working in a vinyl record shop, so when I grade records I will often be conservative and undergrade, which means nothing that is secondhand is ever graded Mint, even if it looks un-played. I have 100% feedback on EBay and most of my records will be listed as VG or EX even if they are in better condition.  All records are cleaned and fully play tested on a Technics SL1600 turntable as most are from my own collection.

Records are graded according to the official Record Collector grading guide below.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
