Up for purchase is a super clean copy of the Grateful Dead's 1987 studio release, "In The Dark." Here found in in a first-pressing issue, Arista Record label, 1987. In the Dark is the 12th studio album by the Grateful Dead. It was recorded between January 6 and 13, 1987, and originally released on July 6, 1987. In the Dark was the Dead's first album in six years, and its first studio album since 1980's Go to Heaven. It became unexpectedly popular, achieving double platinum certification in the U.S. It reached #6 on the Billboard 200 chart, the Grateful Dead's only top ten album. The peppy "Touch of Grey" peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100, the band's only top forty single, it also became a frequently played music video on MTV. "Hell in a Bucket" and "Throwing Stones" also achieved significant rock radio airplay.

This beautiful, classic LP is in excellent condition. The cover is just beautiful, little signs of any age and/or wear. No splits, still crisp and clean. As for the vinyl, still all the shine and luster of new, appears to have seen very little play and the labels are clean with no stickers or damage. Comes with the original inner paper sleeve. Shipping:

We will gladly ship items internationally. Please note that when an item says "Free Shipping", this means for domestic shipping only; however, we will be happy to reduce the international shipping charge appropriately to reflect the free domestic shipping as offered. We will combine multiple items for savings on shipping when practically possible.

We do not charge any handling fees and the shipping cost listed is our best estimate of what the actual shipping cost will be. On fragile items, the shipping cost includes insurance. Sometimes it costs more to ship the item than estimated and the additional cost comes out of our profit. On the rare occasion that the shipping cost paid is substantially more than the actual cost, we do refund that difference to the buyer.
