From my
personal collection comes this original first-run 1974 pressing on Cramps Records (Italy), purchased used in the early 1980s while I was in college.
This record includes the infamous 4'33", but with a twist: according to the track listing, it is performed here in three parts. Beautifully absurd, in my opinion, that it is labeled that way...it gets a chuckle from me every time I see it.
The vinyl is
VG, with a few pops and ticks and surface noise here and there. I listened to this in its entirety recently, and it was a great listen. The cover
is VG+, with discoloration from the used record store sticker being the worst offender. Besides that, there is a little general discoloration and just a little edge/spine/corner/ring wear that gives
away this record's age. Please see the
hi-res
photos for the general lay of the land. I need to clear out some space,
so this old rarity is in search of a new home.
You'll be hard-pressed to find a more solid copy of this record...DON'T MISS OUT!
