                     80's - 90's. 21 x 7" Singles

  The records range from very good : excellent as stated in the " Record Collectors " grading

   system. I do try to give my own description in a little more detail after each record listing,

   trying to point out any sound defect. All but a few of the records have very light surface marks,

   these will only be mentioned  if they significantly effect the sound quality. I only listen to and

  grade the "A" sides with the majority of records grading very good or better. The record collectors

  definition for very good is, " The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no

  major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light

  scratch ".   Most of the picture sleeves have creases and light stacking circles & edges ( Not always

  separately mentioned ), again any major defects will be noted in the sleeve description. I use the

  " Record Collectors " grading system detailed at the end of the listing. Look at all my photos

  for a visual description.

  Record

 1 - True Blue ( remix ).   Record has two light clicks at the very start + a few light surface marks, did not effect

                                                  the sound quality, VG+. Sleeve has slight wear at the record entry point and

                                                 stacking circle back & front, VG.

 2 - Erotica.   Record, VG+.  Sleeve has light creases at the record entry point, VG+. 

 3 - Causing A Commotion.   Record, EX.  Sleeve has light creasing, VG+. 

 4 - Angel.   Record, EX. Sleeve has a light stacking circle + creasing at record entry point, faint liquid stain back

                                                top left 7 just inside, VG.

 5 - Live To Tell.   Record, EX. Sleeve has a two inch split bottom seam +  a couple of nicks and creases at the

                                                record entry point, G +. 

 6 - Hanky Panky.   Record has 10 seconds of very light static sound before the words kick in, EX. Sleeve has

                                                very light creasing, VG+.

 7 - Dress You Up.   Record, EX.  Sleeve is a little rough at the record entry point, a few creases & nicks, VG.

 8 - Rescue Me.   Record, EX.  Sleeve has a stacking circle back & front, VG+.

 9 - Papa Don't Preach.   Record has just a couple of light surface marks no effect to the sound quality, EX.

                                               Sleeve has light creases, stacking circle & a little worn at record entry point, VG.

10 - Cherish.   Record, EX.  Sleeve has a stacking circle & a small dark mark at the record entry point, VG.    

11 - Open Your Heart ( remix ).   Record, VG+. Sleeve is a bit scruffy at the record entry point + a two inch split

                                                at the bottom, G. 

12 - The Look Of Love.   Record VG+. Sleeve light creasing & stacking circle small liquid stain top right corner

                                               back & front + lightly worn record entry point, VG 

13 - Bad Girl.   Record has a couple of very light surface marks, they didn't effect the sound quality, VG+.

                                               Sleeve, EX.

14 - Like A Prayer.   Record has some very light surface marks noticeable a in some of the quieter parts, VG.

                                               Sleeve is ok apart from being badly creased at the top quarter, VG.

15 - Lucky star.   Record has one noticeable mark & some light surface marks, either detracted from the sound

                                               quality, no noticeable clicks, VG. Sleeve rather worn & creased at the record entry

                                                point, G+.

16 - Rain.   Record has a couple of very light clicks in the first five seconds, EX. Sleeve, EX.

17 - Justify My Love.   Record has a couple of noticeable surface scuffs, did not effect the sound quality, VG.

                                                Sleeve has a few dirt marks on the front & a small liquid stain top right, the

                                                record entry point is a little worn, VG.

18 - This Used To Be My Playground.   Record has a little static sound at the start & a couple of clicks, VG.

                                               Sleeve worn a little at the record entry point & a crease across the back, VG.

19 - Deeper And Deeper.   Record has just light surface marks, plays well with just a few clicks, VG. Sleeve

                                               is a little grubby & has a few light creases, VG.

20 - Who's That Girl.   Record has one noticeable mark on the "A" side it did not effect the sound quality, VG+.

                                               Sleeve has a heavy stacking circle back & front and is a little worn at record

                                               entry point, G.

21 - Material Girl.   Record plays with one or two light clicks at the start, VG+. Sleeve is quite worn at the record

                                               entry point, G+.                                                                                         

   I have played the A-side of all the records and I have graded them as best as I can with the record

   first and the sleeve next, I have given a visual grade for the B-sides.

I am selling my own very large record collection over the next few months, i will describe the records & sleeves as accurately as i can. A lot of the records have only been played a few times if at all though some of the sleeves have a little more wear as i am an ex. D.J. and used to transport my collection around a lot. I use the "RECORD COLLECTORS" grading system as well as my own visual description if required.

Their are five standard condition categories and a description of what each one means are given below.

                                                                            I hope you find this helpful.

MINT : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

GOOD : The record has been played so much the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine split, discoloration etc.

FAIR : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.The cover and contents will be stained torn and/or defaced.
