Top tier Hawaiian disco boogie masterpiece available for the first time on 45. It took us 3 years to persuade Nohelani Cypriano to let us do ‘Lihue’ , a brilliant fairly obscure disco boogie track but if you are a fan and you keep trying your enthusiasm for the music pays off. Not only are we are just delighted to present ‘Lihue’ on 7 for the first time (Previously LP only) but to top it off the flip is a track from a VERY rare hawaiian 45 also by Nohelani called ‘playing with fire’, which sounds like a party track straight out your favorite 80s film. I rate it, which means it’s good! Its like rare-groove scene all over again but with new records.
