One of the great punk/post punk singles, The Slits' Typical Girls was released on Island in 1979, 12WIP 6505. This is the very rare 12 inch version.
A bit of a collector's item.
On the b-side there's also a great cover of Marvin Gaye's classic record I Heard It Through The Grapevine. There's also a third (Slits) track Liebe and Romanze.
This is an extended version of Typical Girls, longer (and better imo) than the 7 inch version. On drums is Budgie who later went to join The Banshees and marry its lead singer.
The front cover picture is very solid, aside small evidence of ringwear top and bottom but the sides have been sellotaped so it does look a little tatty.
BUT the vinyl is very good, just a couple of v. minor scuff marks.
