Brunswick 55325 DJ Promo Chicago soul singer Jackie Ross was born in St. Louis; the daughter of preachers.  She made her performing debut on her parents' radio gospel show, and after her father died in 1954, she relocated to Chicago where the legendary Sam Cooke (who was a friend of her mother) took Jackie under his wing.   In 1967 she changed labels to Brunswick, where she recorded "Keep Your Chin Up."  This is a classic piece of Northern Soul.

She didn’t record too much material and records by her are difficult to find in any condition.  This is a DJ Promo copy; I’d rate the vinyl at VG+ and the label at VG because of the red “X” written on the “A” side.  The record plays clean with a little background noise.  Clips of both sides can be found at the url’s below.
