\m/ >> THREE HEAVY CANADIAN 45s FROM THE 70s!!! << \m/

TRITON WARRIOR – “Satan’s Train b/w Sealed In A Grave” 7" 45 rpm (1972, Toronto)

Vintage Canadian doom from 1972, this reissues the long-lost sole 7" by these dark and heavy Black Sabbath worshippers. Yellow repro labels, picture sleeve, and extensive 12 page booklet packed with photos and their story.   Ltd 500 Copies, hand numbered in gold ink.

TWITCH - s/t 7" EP 33 rpm (1973, PoCo - Vancouver)

Formed in 1971, Canada’s long lost doom/proto-punk legends! Band-leader Ian prompted the guys to wear bloody horror make-up & bizarre outfits, a newspaper article dated January 18, 1973 mentions “the ear-splitting Twitch” playing regularly to capacity audiences. “...a brooding bad-trip sounding proto-punker that bridges the gap between Sixties garage and psych…” (RK / Terminal Boredom). Twitch’s legacy is the missing link for ‘70s proto-punk and proto-metal of the Pacific Northwest region.  Originally issued as two sleeveless promo 45s pressed in roughly 100 copies each, now reissued on one 14 minute EP with orange repro labels, deluxe pocket sleeve, and 16 page booklet with detailed history & tons of horror make-up photos! Ltd. 600 copies.

SPHEX - "Time b/w Leaving This Crazy City" 7" 45 rpm (1976, Cornwall)

Recorded for a soundtrack at the Montreal National Film Board in 1976 and released in 1977. “Absolutely killer reissue...phased-out spacetime bliss, with teenaged hot licks splayed all over while the band steers the vessel with some surprisingly talented drumming and steady rhythms...a killer riff-driven hard rocker that chugs with a certain punk-like menace...it’s so rare these days to find unheard-of gems like this, and the quality of both tracks is pretty impressive.” - RK / Terminal Boredom, June 2012.  Originally issued as a private press, sleeveless gold labeled 45 in a very small edition, now reissued with repro labels, deluxe pocket sleeve, and 16 page booklet with detailed history & tons of photos. 600 copies.
