The Huskers were an absolute sonic blitzkrieg during the summer of ’81. “Dope + Speed = Record” fully exposes the rage and manic energy that drove Hüsker Dü to dizzying heights of creative and critical success; it's an incredible document of a live at the Mabuhay in San Francisco show from July ’81 featuring the band in its embryonic form. Bob Mould and company seem bent on driving themselves to the brink of insanity as they plow through the performance with all the subtlety of a freight train out of control. As part of Hüsker history, this is one awesome document. Features a really cool looking sleeve. Only 500 pressed. Get this while you can!

Condition: New. The vinyl shows a very slight warp and it appears each copy of this release has this superficial characteristic. This copy was tested for playing issues and this plays cleanly with no skipping or audio issues. You'll be the first to enjoy this.
