Youssef Tage was a famous Syrian singer who recorded traditional Arabic music for Columbia in the 1930s. Unusual for a singer of this era, his music was popular enough to be re-released on some later Folkways Records collections in the 1950s (e.g., Folk Music of the Mediterranean, 1952).

Condition: I am afraid I am not able to play 78 rpm records. Please see photos for condition. Recorded is complete (no cracks, missing pieces, etc.), with wear as to be expected for a record of this age. Please inspect the included photos carefully. **ITEM SOLD “AS-IS”**
