Personnel on the title track includes Coltrane on tenor sax, McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass, Donald Garrett on bass and bass clarinet, Pharoah Sanders on tenor sax, Elvin Jones on drums, Frank Butler on drums, and Juno Lewis on vocals and percussion; the remainder of the tracks feature just the quartet of Coltrane, Tyner, Garrison, and Jones.
