This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Sonny Rollins “Alfie” on the orange and black labels of Impulse A-9111. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated gatefold cover is bright and clean throughout, with just light lamination lifting along the opening edge of the back, wear at the lower left corner of the back, and a few lam flakes along the bottom edge; DJ stamp in gatefold. Illustrated inner sleeve included.
Personnel include J.J. Johnson, Jimmy Cleveland, Phil Woods, Kenny Burrell, and Roger Kellaway.
