Grading NM   Near Mint. Record and cover appear virtually unmarked. Cover still in shrink.

VG++ A hair under near mint may have  only a couple of very insignificant surface only lines. 

Cover out of shrink otherwise close to perfect.

VG+ Used but not abused. Some surface lines. No actual scratches. Will likely have some relatively  

slight audible imperfections. Some normal cover wear.

VG…  There will be visual imperfections and some audible ones . May be a number of surface only lines or

 there might be a small scratch but not one that  repeats,

 Cover will be worn or have some kind of defect. In this condition flaws will be pictured or noted.

VG- .. Usually the lowest rating I will list an LP at. Same as VG but defects are more pronounced.
