PLEASE READ AUCTION LISTING NARRATIVE CAREFULLY!!!

Up for bid is a Pre-Sale for Vault Package #28 from Third Man Records. This is not a bootleg. Its an authorised and official release from Third Man Records. Ships with delivery confirmation. If you do not read details below you have no one to blame but yourself. Due to ship July/August 2016 if no delays (which I doubt).

About 1 year ago,  embarked on an unusual, . Hitting the only five states in the US in which he had yet to perform — the wild environs of North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho and Alaska — White and his acoustic ensemble of Dominic Davis,Fats Kaplin and Lillie Mae Rische delivered jaw-dropping performances to the previously JW deprived terrritories. Each show was announced only hours before curtains lifted and tickets were only available in the venue box office, 1 per person, for $3. "No tradesies." Rampant online speculation, guesstimation and divining ensued, and those who were lucky and/or cunning enough to secure a seat were admired by all. The shows had several standards and rules set ahead of time by White: no amplifiers, only ribbon microphones used, and no monitors on stage.

The final performance of that tour was streamed live on , but, as you know, we never pass up an opportunity to immortalize great music (it's a complex, really), so, we ran tape and film for the entirety of the tour, and now YOU will reap the benefits of our obsession.

is a celebration of these unprecedented performances and the end of the era that they signified. Acoustic in Idaho showcases the performance at the Egyptian Theater in Boise and contains a career-spanning set with standards from the White Stripes, Raconteurs and Jack White solo catalog, reinterpreted for performance with no amplifiers. The performance was captured exclusively by ribbon microphones and is dripping with atmosphere. Including a cover of Howlin’ Wolf’s “I Asked For Water (She Gave Me Gasoline)” and ending with a rousing rendition of Leadbelly’s “Goodnight Irene,” what exists here is pure magic.

Jack’s performance from the Wendy Williamson Auditorium in Anchorage, Alaska is a gem in its own right. With the ethereal setting adding to the mystique of the circumstance, the show was one of the most thrilling in White’s twenty-plus-year career, and those who were there to enjoy it (who had waited all day in the snow), bore witness to a once-in-a-lifetime performance. We present that memorable show here, in its entirety, on DVD, with expertly engineered sound and editing by TMR’s in-house film guru Brad Holland. Acoustic in Alaska is truly spectacular.

From the Third Man Books, we present Pictures From Unknown States, an intimate collection of shots from photographer, close Third Man ally (and occasional clothing designer) . This pictorial travelogue of the tour and the places and people it encountered on its route is a packed-to-the-brim 52 pages of sheer wonder.

Also borrowed from Swanson’s stunning photo archives and are two elegant Risographprints, both suitable for framing and evocative of the gilded settings of each one of these performances.

These items fits together perfectly in a soft-touch, silk-screened box that only further cements the exquisite collection as an item no music fan can deny. It may just be our best Vault package yet.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES OF THE AUCTION. THEY ARE NOTED DUE TO RECENT PROBLEMS WITH BUYERS. I KNOW IT IS A LOT, BUT HOPEFULLY IT WILL ALLEVIATE ANY PROBLEMS LATER. IF YOU REFUSE TO READ OR FOLLOW THE AUCTION RULES, YOU HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELF:
The seller sets the rules for the auction, not the buyer. All of these rules that follow are well within the Ebay guidelines.

1) Payment is due within 4 days of auction end. If payment not made, an unpaid item case will be filed with Ebay.
2) Feedback given once buyer gives feedback first. If intent on leaving negative feedback or not happy with item, email me first.
3) With records becoming more popular in the last few years and pressing plants working many hours to meet demand, it is literally impossible to check the condition of every single record thoroughly. Not all records will come out entirely flat; there may be a slight rise and fall to them. Keep in mind,  THEY ARE NOT "WARPED"! A warped record means it may sound a little distorted or be unplayable. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS GIVEN UNLESS THE RECORD SOLD FALLS INTO THIS LAST STATEMENT. So if you need that absolutely pristine record that is perfectly flat, this may not be the auction for you.
4) Before you bid on an item, consider shipping costs, handling time, and other shipping services. Review the item description carefully. If you have any questions about shipping or anything else, contact the seller beforehand, NOT AFTER THE SALE!
5) International Buyers: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. (Overseas buyers are responsible for any final fees due to importation, not the seller! I will also not alter shipping label in any way to lessen costs. This is shipping fraud. Anyone asking me to do so will be reported by me to eBay immediately).
6) International Buyers: If you can not interpret the rules of this auction due to a language barrier, you may want to have someone who understands English explain it to you. It's not my problem/responsibility if you don't understand. By bidding you are expressing to me you understand and are taking responsibility for your actions.
7) You must pay for any item you commit to buying. Each bid you make is a binding contract to buy the item you win. The same is true for Buy It Now purchases. Not paying for an item after you agree to buy it has negative consequences, explained in Ebay's Unpaid Item Policy.

8) Shipping options (ex: First Class, Media, Priority) specified in the listing will be the only one(s) offered, no substitutions. Demanding a change to the shipping method or delivery location, other than those specified in the listing is a violation of Ebay policy. (Any buyer asking me to change to a shipping method not listed in the auction will be reported to eBay by me immediately-this goes especially for non U.S. buyers! Exception to the rule is if buyer requests a faster method of shipping and to pays the extra cost).
9) You may ask whether the seller will combine shipping for multiple purchases (invoice will be sent to buyer for updated shipping costs within reason).                                                                                                                                                              10) You may ask the seller if it's acceptable if your payment is briefly delayed due to exceptional circumstances.
11) Delivery confirmation should be supplied through ebay once it's shipped. Buyer is responsible for tracking package. If package listed as delivered and buyer never received it, contact your local Post Office. Also, seller is not responsible if item is delivered and buyer did not make arrangements to secure item (ex: away on business, vacation, etc.).
12) Sealed records may be shipped outside jacket to avoid seam splits upon request after buyer makes purchase. Seller not responsible for any audio defects on sealed/unplayed items.
13) Records/sleeves graded "Near Mint" means there are minor imperfections (ex: minor corner dings, creases, splits, etc.), i.e. not a perfect copy.
14) LP records are shipped in standard LP mailers and packed securely. 7" records may be shipped in mailers or envelopes and are secured. If for some reason you want extra secure packing (ie double boxing), it will cost extra. Wait for updated invoice before paying (If you receive record and the are dings or creases on jacket or ripped sleeves, double boxing might be a good idea. I won't be held responsible for damage and there be no compensation. Blame the U.S. Post Office).
15) If you receive a sealed item and for some reason it's not the same color as described in the listing, let me know and I will try to replace it or give you a refund. However, if you ask for a refund/return and once I receive the item it's actually the color described in the listing, there will be NO REFUND in return shipping eitherway. Not my problem if you might be incompetent or colorblind.
16) Finally, if a winning bidder:  Does not want it after it is paid for and demands their money refunded, Mistakenly bid on or claims someone else did and does not want item (exception: bid retraction before auction end. If you can't figure out how to remedy situation, refer to eBay policies),  Is not able to redeem a gift card or coupon, Claims they somehow received same item from an outside source, or Purchased item in hand/pre-sale item and found it cheaper or from another source before it shipped to them from Ebay seller (if item is delayed beyond stated time of arrival, I have no problem offering a refund), be advised, YOU WILL NOT BE EXCUSED OR REFUNDED.  ALL SALES ARE FINAL IN THESE SITUATIONS!                                                          I DO MY UTMOST TO BE A FAIR AND RESPONSIBLE SELLER; ITS ONLY FAIR FOR YOU TO BE A RESPONSIBLE BUYER
