This is Blue Note Records BLP 4237, Cecil Taylor Unit Structures, a blue and white microgroove, New York USA label, original mono issue of this classic record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. (Please Note: the original issue has no ear (p) mark in the dead wax. See Fred Cohen 's Blue Note records book page 58). The record is in VG(+) condition (a strong VG), with marks on both sides. It plays quietly with only occasional light background noise audible in the quiet spots. There are no skips or distortion. This is an excellent listening experience. The cover has some kind of damage on the upper right corner and some discoloration on the back but is intact. The labels show only light spindle marks. Even with the cover damage, this is an excellent, initial "play" grade copy of this original Blue Note mono issue with all the proper markings evident. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP-12 in mono mode. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins. Thanks for looking.
