Charlie Whitehead has been called "the greatest unknown soul artist of
all time" by Offbeat magazine. Raw Spitt, his 1970 first full-length,
was produced by Swamp Dogg for Canyon records, and is a highly sought
after collectors album of unconventional Southern Soul (apparently only
500 copies were originally pressed). We're making it available for the
first time on vinyl since its original release.
