For sale is this Capitol pressing of “The Beatles 1962-1966 "Red Album" Double LP album housed in a Gatefold jacket. This album has the Rare Capitol Blue Labels # SKBO-3403 and was manufactured at the Jacksonville, Illinois Pressing Plant. It is complete with the custom lyric inner sleeves and Ad Insert.

This Album is the 1976 Second pressing; Capitol SKBO-3403, having the Capitol target logo on back of the album cover, and red labels with "Capitol" in light red at bottom. There are also some copies that were  erroneously pressed with BLUE labels. There are not many that were released with the blue labels, making this Album Rare and Very Collectible.

 

CONDITION: The Gatefold jacket is in EXCELLENT Condition, showing some minor shelfwear. The discs are in EXCELLENT PLUS Condition, having a few surface scratches that do not affect the play or sound quality of the discs.

 

 

RECORD GRADING SYSTEM:

Mint = As new.

Near mint = Almost like new with one or two very minor flaws.

Excellent or Very Good+ = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable.

Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable.

Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition.

Poor = Extremely worn.

 

A plus (+) or minus (-) after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
