Up for bids are Twelve Different Original Beatles Albums. Covers are Low to Mid Grade, Vinyl is Mid-Grade. I will list each album individually below and attempt to detail condition of each. Beginning with the release of Meet The Beatles in the U. S. on January 20, 1964 until the demise of the group in the Spring of 1970, The Beatles released sixteen studio albums in the U. S. Twelve of those sixteen are offered in this auction with only Yesterday And Today, Revolver, Yellow Submarine and Let It Be missing. Many, many other compilation, tribute, re-releases and other types of albums would be released during and after their reign but only sixteen studio albums were released in the U. S. I have listened to every one of these albums in their entirety. Not one of them skipped, got stuck or had background noise that drowned out the music. I turned sixteen years of age in 1964 the year The Beatles appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show for the first time, so I came of age during Beatlemania. Listening to these albums brought back the memories of why The Beatles are the greatest rock & roll band of all time. Some of the covers have splits, some are taped, some are fairly nice. All these albums are the original albums just as they were originally released. No re-releases in an original cover. If the album was released by Capitol Records you get the original Capitol Record. The same applies if it was originally released by Apple Records. The twelve LP Albums included in this auction are as follows: 1. Meet The Beatles, Capitol Records, T 2047, Mono, 1964. Cover - Side seam is split, small paper tear on front (not paper loss, just a tear). Vinyl - Some surface scratches, but played well. 2. The Beatles Second Album, Capitol Records, T 2080, Mono, 1964. Cover - Side seam is split, bottom seam is taped. Vinyl - A few minor surface scratches but fairly nice overall. 3. A Hard Day's Night Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, United Artists, UAL 3366, 1964. Cover - Minor paper loss in upper left front corner, no splits. Vinyl - A few minor smudges and surface scratches but nice overall. 4. Something New, Capitol Records, T 2108, Mono, 1964. Cover - Name & phone no. written on top of back cover, otherwise very good, no splits. Vinyl - Some surface scratches, played well. 5. Beatles '65, Capitol Records, T 2228, Mono, 1965. Cover - Side seam is beginning to split at the top, no other splits. Otherwise very good. Vinyl - A few minor smudges and surface scratches, otherwise fairly nice. 6. Beatles VI, Capitol Records, T 2358, Mono, 1965. Cover - Top seam is taped, bottom seam is mostly split. Vinyl - Record is actually Stereo (ST 2358) instead of Mono but still original release. Some smudges and surface scratches but still plays nice. 7. Help, Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, Capitol Records, SMAS 2386. Cover - Top seam partially split, some fraying at exit, otherwise fairly nice. Vinyl - Surface scratches and smudges, moderate background noise. 8. Rubber Soul - Capitol Records, ST 2442, Stereo, 1966. Cover - Very Good, no splits. Vinyl - A few surface scratches but very nice. 9. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Capitol Records, SMAS 2653, Stereo, Gatefold, 1966. Cover - Split on side seam, top seam is taped. Vinyl - A few minor smudges but in pretty nice condition. Poster is included. 10. Magical Mystery Tour, Capitol Records, MAL 2835, Gatefold, 1967. Cover - Side seam is split, top seam is partially split. Vinyl - Note: This album has an Apple re-release LP with it. I have the original Capitol LP but it is in poor/fair condition with skips, sticking and background noise. The Apple re-release is in much better condition with no skips or sticking. I can send either the original record, the re-release or both, buyer's choice. Note: Several pages missing from picture book. 11. The Beatles (Self-titled, known as "The White Album"), Apple Records, SWBO 101, Stereo, Double Album, 1968. Cover - Partial splitting and taping. Vinyl - Very Nice. (Note: Photos & Add Ins not included.) 12. Abbey Road, Apple Records, SO-383, Stereo, 1969. Cover - All three seams partially or completely split, ring wear. Vinyl - Smudges and surface scratches, sounds OK. If you are a collector of Mint or High Grade albums these are not for you. The covers or low to mid grade. Vinyl is pretty much mid grade. If you enjoy listening to the Beatles as I do, these will fit the bill. A few may have a little background noise but none that will over take the music. I sure enjoyed listening to them and I hope you will too. U. S. Sales only, please. Pay pal preferred. Will ship within 48 hrs. of receipt of pmt., weekends and postal holidays excluded.
