Gil Evans (with Johnny Carisi and Cecil Taylor Orchestras) INTO THE HOT Impulse A-9, recorded 1961. Orange on black not-deep-groove label. “RVG” stamped into the wax. Glossy gatefold jacket is E+: upper right edge was roughed up, and there’s a fingerprinty smear on reverse. “A Product of Am-Par record Corp.” is the last line of text on reverse. One rubber stamp from wholesale on reverse also. Disc looks E+ but plays E- with regular clicking, etc. One underground lump on B-1. Includes original ABC catalog inner sleeve.
