Exotika was the duo's first album as part of a North American agreement with Nettwerk Records (also the home of Skinny Puppy) and, while it does represent a leap in technology over their early work, the album still exhibits many of the flaws Chris and Cosey had dealt with since their debut -- no focus on songwriting, and too few ideas to make up for that lack. ~ Keith Farley
