EMI began the presing sequence with the end digits and letters '-2U' per side, the digits before the 'U' rose, then the 'U' was removed and following multiple re-issues only had this format; '-A- 1 /-B - 1, from there the end digits once again climbed. The matrix on this first made record is unique only to the first of the first UK pressings!

First issue LYRIC INNER SLEEVE  constructed from thick cardboard with a textured sheen finish top surface, the inside is a natural untreated buff cardboard colour. A first pressing inner sleeve.
MINT-  CONDITION

Uniquely designed and constructed very first issue 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed GATEFOLD COVER.
The wide spine is just one of the distinctive features but includes the additional 1st issue point that inside the right-hand panel, underneath the boxed 'Harvest' logo in really tiny printing is the actual date of the printing, date coded as '7701' = January 1977. Artwork continues over the front's edge onto the inside, covering it completely before being glued underneath the inside's left hand panel creating a distinctly sloping shape to the front. The cover's inside is a white colour not natural cardboard. In short, all the necessary 1st issue points are present.
A hardly used, and perfectly stored very first issue gatefold cover is as rare as a Mint- record.
MINT- CONDITION

Both RECORD labels are in pristine, unblemished condition, spindle use traces are very faint, showing only 2/3 plays, extremely rare for a genuine first pressing. Clearly only ever played with the greatest of care, leaving no marks/scratches and absolutely perfect sound quality!
