Here I have a copy of

Sex Pistols

'The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle'

on rare original UK pressing 2x LP in stickered gatefold sleeve with paper labels & track listing insert

released on Virgin Records VD 2510  in 1979

This pressing has the spine credits in white, it has a tracklisting insert with two stickers & the 'Oliver Twist' copy printed on the reverse, and the tracklisting is in a different order on the record and the labels to the insidee sleeve tracklisting . The ‘Sorry About Incorrect Track Listing' is printed on both of the labels. 

Record 1 Side A has the vocal version of 'The God Save The Queen Symphony' followed by 'Johnny B Goode' & 'Road Runner' .  Record 1 Side B starts with 'Substitute' and ends with both versions of 'Belsen Was A Gas'  

Record 2 side C starts with 'Silly Thing' and also has 'I Wanna Be Me' added and ends with 'No One Is Innocent'

Record 2 side D  has 'You Need Hands' after 'Friggin In The Riggin' and ends with 'Who Killed Bambi'.

Record 1 :-  etched VD 2510 A4 stamped C3 V etched tone & etched V crossed out letter D 2510 B3 stamped 7 V etched tone jim

Record 2 :-  etched V crossed out letter D 2510 C- 3 etched tone stamped V  &  etched V crossed out letter D 2510 D-3 etched tone stamped D  

The condition of the records are excellent - ( have a few light hairlines but play through fine ).

The stickered gatefold sleeve has very mild creasing on edges.

The labels are clean with a couple of very light spindle marks.

A great copy of this original UK pressing  !
