This is a copy of the incredibly rare 7” by Antonio Carlos Jobim with Quarteto 004 in original generic sleeve.

Quarteto 004 were one of the short lived bossa jazz combos and this single with Jobim was a single release only on the tiny CODIL label.

Cover is EXC Generic period cover

Humidity and atmosphere in Rio mean that most vintage LP sleeves have some discolouration or foxing.

Vinyl is EXC - vinyl very glossy. Label has promo stamps

Brazilian vinyl from this era ALWAYS had pops and other small issues when playing even when factory sealed. For a super rare LP from 40 years ago this is in the best condition possible.

In the early 90s I was a record dealer buying in Brazil and I would always keep the best condition copies of great albums for myself. Records in Brazil in those days were almost always trashed or ruined with sticky alcohol (supposedly to clean them). Any pristine examples I would hang on to and clean them back in the UK on a professional industrial grade record cleaner.
