This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of The Three Sounds “Black Orchid” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note 4155. The playing surface is in virtually new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated New York 23 cover is bright and clean throughout; “Review Copy” stamped in upper right corner of back slick; bump in upper left corner and 1” wear at top of spine and top seam, at the spine. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
